Terms of Service
Last updated: September 4, 2026
By using ilove7z ("the Site", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The service
ilove7z provides free, browser-based tools for extracting, compressing and converting archives. These tools operate entirely on your device using WebAssembly; we do not host or process your files.
2. Your content
Because your files are processed locally and never transmitted to us, you retain full ownership and responsibility for any content you use with the tools. You agree not to use the Site to process or distribute content that violates the law or the rights of others.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the Site or its infrastructure.
- Do not scrape or republish the Site's tool output in a way that misleads users about its origin.
- Do not use the tools to facilitate illegal activity.
4. No warranty
The Site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the tools will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that output will be suitable for your particular purpose.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ilove7z shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Site. Because files are processed on your own device, you are responsible for backing up important data before using the tools.
6. Intellectual property
The ilove7z name, logo and site design are our property. The 7-Zip engine and its source are the property of Igor Pavlov and contributors, used under the GNU LGPL and associated licensing terms. All archive format specifications belong to their respective creators. Nothing in these terms grants you rights in our marks.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
